Three Fairy ATCs

Hi everyone!  Melissa here with three ATCs  for Gina's Designs. I think the delicacy of the chipboard and these little pictures fit together. To decorate the chipboard I first prepped the chipboard with gesso, followed by blue chalk ink. When the top one dried I put on some Inka Gold. On the bottom two pieces I put on a layer of crackle, followed by Inka Gold.

Lost in Thought

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a layout for Gina's Designs.
I think these chipboard pieces fit beautifully with the vintage theme of the page.
To decorate the chipboard, I first prepped all the pieces with gesso. On the leaf pieces I put green and brown watercolors over green chalk ink. I then topped them off with Distress Crackle Paint.

For the pink pieces, I put crackle paint over pink chalk ink.  I rubbed in some brown chalk to define the cracks. The pink didn't show up much as much as I would have liked it to against the background, so I used pink Twinkling H20s to make the pieces darker. After that, I applied yellow, then purple H20s, letting each layer dry. I ended with another layer of crackle paint.

Fairy Atc Shrine and Atc

Hi everyone! Melissa here with an ATC shrine and ATC for Gina's Designs. These little shrines really get my imagination going. I had fun adding different things to the top.

To decorate the shrine I first prepped it with gesso. I painted it with Jaquard Lumieres mixed with  White Viva Modeling Cream, to lighten the color. I wanted it to be pinker so I painted on Twinkling H20s. While it was wet I added on some red watercolors. When it was dry I rubbed on some white pearlex powder. I painted the door with silver leaf paint.

Carole Lombard

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a layout for Gina's Chipboard Laser Designs

Carole Lombard was an American film actress. She was particularly noted for her zany, energetic roles in the screwball comedies of the 1930's.  She was the highest-paid star in Hollywood in the late 1930's.

I really enjoy working with Gina's chipboard here, it blends in so well with the layout.

To decorate the chipboard I first prepped them with gesso. On the green top piece, I started with pink chalk ink.  I then sprayed some Lindy's on.  I didn't like the color, so I added green chalk ink, then green and brown watercolors.  I let it dry, then rubbed some gold Pearlex powder on.  I topped it off with a layer of Distress Crackle Paint.  I did the bottom green piece the same way, but skipped the pink ink and Lindy's. You can see they are two different shades of green.

On the chandelier I used Distress Crackle Paint over silver leaf paint.
