For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team: Why Fit In When You Were Born To Stand Out?

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun                                                                         treasures there!

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat, and made a mat also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard, ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso.

I sprinkled on ultra thick embossing powder into the wet gesso and heated it with a heat gun.

I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers, and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints. I rubbed on gold, aqua, and pearl mica powder on different  areas.

To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads, sequins, tulle, lace, iridescent wrapping paper, sisal, crystals, feathers, glass glitter, chipboard, and bling and metal from my stash.

Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.
