Shimmerz Paints Design Team Page, Walk With Me

 Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there! 

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I taped together layers of cardboard with the photo on top. I applied Prima crackle paste on 49 & Market paper with a spatula. I put the frame on the page, and started adding flowers and other items. 

I brushed on different colors of paints:

Shimmerz - Christmas Cheer, Run! Forest

Inklinz: First Blush, Blue My Mind 

 

I used gold mica powder on the edges of raised surfaces.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,iridescent wrapping paper, tulle,  Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets, flowers from  Reneabouquets,shells,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

     To make this page, I first applied clear gesso to 49 & Market paper

  I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.

 I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on the paper with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and fussy cut images.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of edges and raised areas. There are different layers of paint. I added Folk Art Glitterific Hologram and Green Paint in a few areas. 

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper, sisal, antique lace,pressed dried flowers, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,shells, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

I added Folk Art Glitterific Neon Berry Galaxy Paint in a few areas. I sponged on white gesso on a lot of the paper because it got too busy looking.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper,white tulle, sisal, wire, antique lace,pressed dried flowers, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.
