Shimmerz Paints DT Page, There Are Always Flowers For Those Who Want To See Them

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the         fun treasures there!

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I taped together layers of cardboard with the photo on top. I brushed on clear gesso on 49 & Market paper. I applied Prima Platinum crackle through a Finnabair stencil with a spatula. I put the frame on the page, and started adding flowers and other items. 

                                                   I brushed on different colors of paints:

Inklingz:    Greener Pastures, Penny 4 Your Thoughts, Steely Blue Eyes,  First Blush,  I Love You Onyxly

Shimmerz:  Precious Metal, Peacock's Plume

 

                                            

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, tulle,sisal, dried and pressed flowers,Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,gold thread, sealing wax,metal from Reneabouquets, Beautiful Board from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. I rubbed on gold mica powder on a lot of raised areas. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together. All the fussy cut images are from recent 49 & Market papers.

I used gold mica powder on the edges of raised surfaces.

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I taped together layers of cardboard with the photo on top. I brushed on clear gesso on 49 & Market paper. I applied Prima Platinum crackle through a TCW stencil with a spatula. I put the frame on the page, and started adding flowers and other items. 

 I brushed on different colors of paints:

Inklingz: First Blush, Greener Pastures, Penny 4 Your Thoughts, Old Yeller

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, tulle, lace,sisal, dried and pressed flowers,Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets, Beautiful Board from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Reneabouquets DT Page, Wearing A Wedding Dress At The Beach

 To make this page, I first painted watercolor paper with Shimmerz Paints. I clipped the paper to a piece of cardboard to help it lie flat, and not get warped.

  I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.

 I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on the paper with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Beautiful Board,images, and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of edges and raised areas. There are different layers of paint. I rubbed Prima waxes on some raised areas and on the watercolor paper.

All the fussy cut images are from Graphic 45. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

I used a little Glitterific Gold Paint from Folk Art.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,iridescent wrapping paper,pressed dried flowers,a few Swarovski  crystals, glass beads, pearls,lace, tulle, sisal, silver thread, white ink splatters,flowers from  Reneabouquets and Prima,and metal from Reneabouquets. All the fussy cut images are from Graphic 45. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.
