For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Every Heart Sings A Song, Incomplete, Until Another Heart Whispers Back

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page I brushed on clear gesso on 49&Market Paper,then stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I made a watercolor mat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and placed it on the page. I put a piece of canvas on one layer of cardboard.I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.  I rubbed on gold mica powder on a few raised areas.  





To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,glass beads, glass glitter,copper leaf,iridescent wrapping paper, chipboard,tulle,lace,sisal,flowers,feathers,fussy cut images from 49 & Market paper,and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural items are from Reneabouquets.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Love Is A Canvas Furnished By Nature And Embroidered By Imagination

For The Reneabouquets Design Team , But Now It's Time For Me To Go, The Autumn Moon Lights My Way

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all                                                                 the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I applied clear gesso to Prima paper. Then I stenciled on Prima Platinum crackle paste with a spatula. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper                                        under the photo to make it more sturdy and lie flat.

 I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.            
   
I arranged the Beautiful Board,fussy cut images,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.





To add visual interest I added mica powder, micro beads, glass glitter,copper leaf, wire,glass beads,crystals,tulle,feathers,bling from my stash,fussy cut images, Beautiful Board and Printed                                                                                       Beautiful Board.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team - I'm So Glad I Live In A World Where There Are Octobers
