I painted the chipboard  with gesso, then Pink -A- Boo and  Pugnacious Purple Inklingz.

To add visual interest I glued on micro beads, seed beads, gold leaf, sisal, swarovski crystals, glass shard glitter, glass beads, pearls, paper, tulle, pressed flowers, lichen, and leaves, shells, fussy cut images from Graphic 45,flowers from Reneabouquets, metal from Reneabouquets, and Vintaj, and bling and metal from my stash.I rubbed and flicked on Jaquard Brilliant Gold and Violet mica powder as one of the final steps.

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page I applied clear gesso to Blue Fern Christmas Cheer Paper.

I put the layers under the photo together, starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. Below that is a watercolor paper mat, and at the bottom is corrugated cardboard. I tore off most of the paper from the top of the cardboard, and painted it with gesso.

I put the layers with the photo onto the page.

I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste with a stencil and an old credit card. I picked out Beautiful Board, arranged the flowers around the page, and added the BB. I layered in all the fussy cut pieces, and then the beads. I added paint, more beads, and layers of more paint.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass glitter, glass beads, pearls, rhinestones, swarovski crystals, sequins, pressed flowers, seeds, dried lavender buds and leaves, bark, lichen, feathers, cheesecloth, iridescent wrapping paper, sisal, lace, tulle, metal from Reneabouquets,Prima,Tim Holtz, and Vintaj, flowers from  Reneabouquets and Prima, and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things, and to put the cardboard layers together.I used  fussy cut images from Graphic 45 papers. I flicked on gold Jaquard mica powder, added Prima waxes, and flicked on white Amsterdam Ink,as final steps.

I glued it on top of a card made from watercolor paper.  I painted the paper with clear gesso, then applied texture paste with a stencil and spatula. I layered in elements with small pieces of corrugated cardboard and double sided foam tape to add dimension.

I painted the round chain chipboard with gesso, then Green Olive Shimmerz and Penny 4 Your Thoughts Inklingz. I layered on a thick coat of Clear Rock Candy Crackle.

I painted the background with  Dear John LetterGreener Pastures, and the Penny color. The rose under the girl's feet was lighter than I wanted it to be, so I added A Rose(By Any Other Name) Inklingz.

Reneabouquets Design Team page "Imagine",by Melissa Larson

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page I applied clear gesso to 49 And Market paper.

I picked out Beautiful Board(BB), and sponged on gesso. I arranged the flowers around the page, and added the BB. I layered in all the fussy cut pieces, and then the beads. I added paint, more beads, and layers of more paint.

I painted the lavender flower at the left of the photo with Iris My Case, a Shimmerz Paint. When I do these pages,I take photos to see if the composition is ok. I needed a lot more color around the page to balance out the photo, so I painted the flower, and added more of that color, and also alcohol inks, and Dylusions, to try and balance the strong colors of the photo.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass glitter, glass beads, pearls, rhinestones, swarovski crystals, sequins, pressed flowers, bark, iridescent wrapping paper, sisal, shells, metal from Reneabouquets, and Vintaj, flowers from  Reneabouquets and Prima, and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things, and to put the cardboard layers together.I used  fussy cut images from 49 And Market, and Graphic 45 papers. I flicked on violet Jaquard mica powder as a last step.

Merry And Bright

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new design team post for the amazing Shimmerzpaints! I love their rich texture and colors!

To make this page I put the layers under the photo together first, including taping water color paper under the image to make it stronger and lie flat. Below that is a mat of watercolor paper, and at the bottom is corrugated cardboard. I tore off most the paper from the surface of the cardboard, and painted it with white gesso. I put one or two layers of cardboard between each of the layers to add dimension, and taped it to the background paper with double sided foam tape.

I applied Prima Platinum texture paste to Blue Fern's Christmas Cheer paper with a small spatula and a Prima bubble stencil. I used regular texture paste because I didn't use enough the first time, and for crackle applied Clear Rock Candy Crackle.

I attached the flowers first with double sided foam tape. I added the beads, then the paint.

I painted the mat with Penny 4 Your Thoughts Inklingz over Pixie Dust Blingz. The green is Greener Pastures Inklingz. I used Penny on the background paper, and also used Christmas Cheer Shimmerz

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass glitter, clear acrylic rhinestones, glass beads, pearls, rhinestones, swarovski crystals, pressed flowers, bark, iridescent wrapping paper, gold leaf, tulle, cheesecloth painted with Christmas Cheer, lace, sisal, metal from Reneabouquets, and Prima, flowers from  Reneabouquets and Prima, and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

I used double sided foam tape to put the cardboard layers together.I layered in fussy cut images from Graphic 45.The painted Beautiful Board is from Reneabouquets, and so are the chipboard snowflakes. There is a Santa with his sleigh rub on at the bottom from Tim Holtz, it didn't come out too good. I flicked on gold Jaquard mica powder as a last step.

There is a Santa with his sleigh rub on at the bottom from Tim Holtz, it didn't come out too good. You can see it under the snowman.

I flicked on gold Jaquard mica powder as a last step.

Reneabouquets Artists With An Edge November 2020 Moodboard Challenge

Hi everyone! It's November, which means there is a new mood board challenge in the Reneabouquets Artists With an Edge Facebook Group

In case you are new to my blog, we do a mood board challenge every month in the Reneabouquets Artists With an Edge Facebook Group. Everyone who enters a new project using items from Reneabouquets, gets entered into a chance to win a Reneabouquets prize package at the end of the month.

Here is the kick off project that I made for this month's challenge.

To make this page I applied clear gesso to 49 And Market paper.

I put the layers under the photo together, starting with an image by Pion Papers taped on some watercolor paper. Below that is a watercolor paper mat, and at the bottom is corrugated cardboard. I tore off most of the paper from the top of the cardboard, and painted it with gesso. There are 4 layers of very thick corrugated in total. Each layer is about twice as thick as regular corrugated.

I put the layers with the photo onto the page, on top of pieces of Graphic 45 papers.

I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste with a stencil and an old credit card. I picked out Beautiful Board, and sponged on gesso.

I painted some of the Beautiful Board with Pixie Dust Blingz by Shimmerz, and rubbed on silver mica powder on top, and left others plain.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass glitter, glass beads, rhinestones, swarovski crystals, acrylic crystals, lichen, feathers, sisal, cheesecloth, shells, black and white tulle, metal from Reneabouquets, and Vintaj, flowers from  Reneabouquets,Prima, and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. There are fussy cut images from Graphic 45 papers. I rubbed on Brilliant Gold and Silver Mica powder around the background. I painted around papers with brown, green, and pale peach watercolors by Shimmerz Paints.

Thank you so much for looking, and have a great week!
