For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team , Fortune Favors The Bold


Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste on watercolor paper with a small spatula. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I made a watercolor mat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and placed it on the page.I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.  I rubbed on gold mica powder on a                                                                         lot of the raised areas.      




To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,glass beads, glass glitter,copper leaf, chipboard,tulle,shells,flowers,lace,sisal,and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural things are from Reneabouquets.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, Beauty Is A Fragile Gift


 Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all         the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I applied clear gesso to Prima paper. Then I stenciled on Prima Platinum crackle paste with a spatula. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the photo to make it more sturdy and lie flat.

 I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.            
   
I arranged the Beautiful Board,fussy cut images,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.




To add visual interest I added mica powder, micro beads,feathers, glass glitter, glass beads,crystals,tulle,lace, sisal,bling from my stash, and flowers.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, A Friend Is Someone Who Makes It Easy To Believe In Yourself


Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all         the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I applied clear gesso to 49&Market paper. Then I stenciled on Prima Platinum crackle paste to with a spatula. I put watercolor paper under the photo, and two layers of corrugated cardboard.

    
I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.






To add visual interest I added embossing powder,micro beads,copper leaf,feathers, glass glitter, glass beads,crystals,tulle,lace, sisal,bling from my stash, iridescent wrapping paper,and mulberry paper flowers. The angel wings on the right are stenciled platinum paste on a piece of acrylic.
All the fussy cut images are from 49 & Market papers.
