Shimmerz Paints Design Team Page, The Sea At Night

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I taped together layers of cardboard with the photo on top. I brushed on clear gesso on 49 & Market paper. I applied Prima crackle with a spatula. I put the frame on the page, and started adding flowers and other items.

I brushed on different colors of paints:

Shimmerz - Peacock's Plume, Teal The End Of Time

Inklinz: First Blush, Blue My Mind, Oakie Bear Blue,Steely Blue Eyes

I used gold mica powder on the edges of raised surfaces.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, tulle, lace, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets, flowers and Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

A Peaceful Moment, A DT Post For Shimmerz Paints

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post,a 5 by7" reverse canvas, for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! I love their rich colors!

To make this I flipped over a 5x7" canvas and coated it with gesso. I cut out images from Graphic 45's Cottage Life, and glued them onto the chipboard frame. I attached the flowers with double sided tape.

A lot of the items are from Reneabouquets.

To add visual interest I added glass glitter, micro beads, seed beads,glass beads, pearls, rhinestones, glass hearts,tulle,lace, pressed and dried flowers,flowers and metal from Reneabouquets. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. The Beautiful Board is from Reneabouquets.

I used the following colors: First Blush, Pink- A -Boo , Blue My Mind, Honeymoon, Penny 4 Your Thoughts Inklingz, and Run!Forest, Ultra Marine, and Iris My Case Shimmerz.The gold is mica powder. I brushed on gesso on the some of the surfaces, and added paint later.

ATCs for Shimmerz Paints Design Team

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new design team post, three ATCs, for the amazing Shimmerz Paints, I love their rich texture and colors!

I like to give these ATCs to my relatives and friends as tiny special occasion cards.

To make these cards I cut out images from Graphic 45's Cottage Life and Children's Hour, and glued them onto 2.5 x 3.5 inch watercolor paper cards. The chipboard has Aqua Tinsel Embossing Powder on it. I stenciled on Prima Platinum crackle texture paste with a spatula.

A lot of the items are from Reneabouquets.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass beads, pearls, rhinestones, glass hearts,tulle, Prima mould shapes,shells,pressed and dried flowers,flowers from Reneabouquets, metal from Tim Holtz,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. The Beautiful Board is from Reneabouquets.

I used the following colors: First Blush, Pink- A -Boo , Blue My Mind, Honeymoon,Steely Blue Eyes Inklingz, and Run!Forest and Iris My Case Shimmerz.

Easter Greetings, A Card For Reneabouquets DT

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

I made an 8"x4" card out of watercolor paper, and applied Prima Platinum Crackle Paste with a stencil.

I arranged Printed Beautiful Board, flowers, and fussy cut images around the page, then added the beads and other items. The images are all from Graphic 45 papers.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of edges and raised areas. I finished with a little Prima wax.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins, Swarovski crystals, glass beads, pearls,sisal, tulle, lace, flowers from Reneabouquets,and bling from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things.

On A Cliff By The Ocean, a page for Reneabouquets Design Team

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I first applied clear gesso to 49 & Market paper

I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on the paper with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of edges and raised areas. There are different layers of paint.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper,pressed dried flowers, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls, flowers from Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.
