October Is The Month Of Painted Leaves, For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the                                                                               fun treasures there! 

                                                                       

To make this card I took an 8 x 8 piece of watercolor paper, measured,scored and folded it in half.

I applied Prima Platinum Crackle Paste with a spatula and stencil. I put the items on with double sided foam tape and glossy accents. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, mostly Imperial Amethyst. All the images are from Graphic 45 papers.

                                                                     

Inklingz:  Imperial Amethyst,  Penny 4 Your Thoughts,   Greener Pastures, Plum Crazy,and  I Love You Onyxly,  

Shimmerz:   Run!Forest, and Precious Metal.

 

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, glass beads, swarovski crystals,lace, tulle, feathers from my backyard,pressed and dried flowers from my yard,Tim Holtz ribbon, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets,Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. I rubbed on gold mica powder on a lot of of the raised areas.

Paris Is A City That Entrances Us All, For The Reneabouquets Design Team

 

 Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

The photo is of Opera Singer Andie White,the youngest sister of my daughter in law Aron. In May of this year she received a Masters In Music, from the New England Conservatory of Music, and this trip to Paris was her graduation gift.

To make this page, I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat. The bottom layer of cardboard has gesso that I poured Ultra Thick Embossing Powder onto and heated till  it was just melted.

 I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on 49 and Market paper with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of the raised areas. 

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,a few Swarovski  crystals, glass beads,feathers, tulle,flowers,iridescent wrapping paper, gold leaf,  and some bling from my stash. All the fussy cut images are from 49 and Market. A lot of the items of are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

All the fussy cut images are from Graphic 45 papers.  A lot of the items of are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.
