For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, The Best Gift I Have To Give You Is My Forever Love

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new project for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the             fun treasures there!

I took a 5"x7" canvas, and brushed on gesso on the reverse side. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Crackle Texture paste on the frame. I added the Beautiful Board on top of the canvas, and put the boy on. I placed the flowers in, and then all the little items. Whenever I glued something on with Glossy Accents, I added diamond glitter.  I painted with Shimmerz Paints, and rubbed on gold and silver mica powder.                                        

      

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,a few Swarovski  crystals, glass beads, pearls,shells, tulle,lace,sisal,and flowers and metal from  Reneabouquets.  All the fussy cut images are from Graphic 45. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Beauty Is In The Heart Of The Beholder

To make this page, I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat. The bottom layer of cardboard has gesso that I poured Ultra Thick Embossing Powder onto and heated till  it was just melted. You can't see the corrugated because I layered paper and tulle over it.

I coated a sheet of Prima paper with clear gesso, then applied Prima Platinum crackle paste  with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged Prima fussy cut papers and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied jaquard gold mica powder with my fingers on the raised parts of the page, and also on a lot of textured items. A lot of the dark color on the page is a mix of Run!Forest and Teal The End Of Time. 

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,Swarovski  crystals, glass beads,gold thread, tulle,lace, iridescent wrapping paper, feathers,flowers, and shells A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things, and to put the cardboard layers together.

For the Reneabouquets Design Team, With Brave Wings She Flies

To make this page, I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat.  I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on white cardstock with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Printed Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder on a lot of the raised areas on the page. There are a lot of fussy cut images from Graphic 45 papers.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter, glass beads, sisal,iridescent wrapping paper, tiny feathers, and flowers. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together. 

I added mica powders to the two above flowers to get stronger colors. I glued iridescent wrapping paper under the glass hearts.
