For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, She Read Books As One Would Breathe Air, To Fill Up And Live

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page I coated a piece of Graphic 45 paper with clear gesso. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat, and also made two layers of canvas mats to layers of corrugated cardboard.I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints. I rubbed and brushed on gold and blue mica powder on different areas.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,glass beads,swarovski crystals,acrylic crystals, glass glitter,gold leaf,iridescent wrapping paper,sisal,ribbon,chipboard, tulle, flowers, and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural items are from Reneabouquets.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Christmas Time

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, T'was The Night Before Christmas, When All Through The House, Not A Creature Was Stirring, Not Even A Mouse

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all all the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I applied a layer of Prima crackle paste to watercolor paper with a stencil and a small spatula. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper to make it lie flat.

I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.

I arranged the Beautiful Board,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. I put gold and silver mica powder.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads, glass glitter,glass beads,crystals,tulle,lace,bling from my stash,iridescent wrapping paper,feathers,and fussy cut images from Graphic 45.
