Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun             treasures there!    

I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper measuring 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on                                                                Shimmerz Paints I rubbed on gold mica powder on different areas. 

                 I glued on slightly larger pieces of watercolor paper underneath the top piece.

When I painted these, I used a watercolor brush and brushed on water on about a quarter of the atc, then put the color on. Whatever I felt like adding I waited til the first coat was dry, then put on more color. These are very fine watercolors, the shimmer and shine is amazing.  

On the above atc I used several different colors on the edges. Shades of purple, blue, pretty much wound up with Twinkle Twinkle on top of Ultra Marine. That's about what shows anyway.

 To add visual interest I added seed beads,pearls,sequins, glass glitter,glass beads, flowers, feathers,   tulle,and fussy cut images from Graphic 45 papers. I punched holes and added wire to make a hanger. I glued on a piece of cardstock the same size of the ATC on the back. I'll sign my name on them.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Three ATCS, My Heart Has Wings And I Can Fly. I'll Touch Every Star In The Sky

I punched holes and added wire to make a hanger for the ATCs.  I glued on a piece of cardstock the same size of the ATC on the back. For The Reneabouquets Design Team. “Beauty Is A Fragile Gift

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see                                                                      all the beautiful treasures there!    

To make this 8 x 4" card, I applied a layer of Prima Platinum crackle paste onto watercolor paper with a                                                      stencil and a small spatula. I put gesso and layers of Shimmerz paints                                                on the frame.Also a mix of gold mica powder and water,                                                                                                     

I arranged the Beautiful Board,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items I used layers of double sided foam tape and a little cardboard to give height to the frame.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. I rubbed on gold mica powder. 

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,crystals,sequins,gold leaf,tulle,and bling from my stash .I used glossy accents to adhere items to the page. For flowers I used double sided foam tape.

I used the brand new  Printed Beautiful Board Mirabelle In Paris Laser Cut Chipboard on this layout, along with several other coordinating products that worked so well together. They included flowers, butterflies, lace, and trinkets.

To make this page, I applied a layer of Prima Platinum crackle paste on watercolor paper with a stencil and a small spatula. I taped on a layer of watercolor paper underneath the photo to help it to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and then a watercolor mat. I added more layers of cardboard and the bottom layer of corrugated you can see is gessoed. I poured UTEE on wet gesso and heated it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

I arranged the Beautiful Board,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. I rubbed on gold,citrine, and silver mica powder. I added some patina colored paste on different spots.

                                      

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,glass beads,crystals,sequins,gold leaf,sisal,tulle,lace, bling from my stash,and iridescent wrapping paper.I used glossy accents to adhere items to the page. For flowers I used double sided foam tape.
