For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Listen!The Wind Is Rising, And The Air Is Wild With Leaves

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun                                                                            treasures there!

 To make this page,  I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat, and  made two mats. I added  layers of corrugated cardboard, flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.  I rubbed on gold,pearl, and blue mica powder on different  areas. I brushed on white gesso to create some blank space on the paper. 







To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass beads, crystals, glass glitter,sequins, sisal,iridescent wrapping paper, chipboard, tulle,flowers,pressed flowers, an orange feather, pressed flowers from my yard, copper leaf, and bling and metal from my stash.  A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.The feathers are from my sister in law's Liz Rysdyk's, backyard. Many of the textural items are from Reneabouquets.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, I'm So Glad I Live In A World Where There Are Octobers

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see                 all the beautiful treasures there!



                              


 To make this page, I brushed on a layer of clear gesso onto Prima paper. I put Prima Platinum crackle paste on with a stencil and a small spatula.

 I taped on a layer of watercolor paper underneath the photo to help it to lie flat. I added a layer of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor paper mat.  I added another layer of cardboard and a bottom                                                                            layer of corrugated.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
I arranged the Beautiful Board,and other items around the page. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. I rubbed on gold  mica 
                                                                                 powder.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, Autumn...The Year's Last Loveliest Smile



Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see                 all the beautiful treasures there!

 To make this page, I brushed on a layer of clear gesso onto 49 and Market paper. I put Prima Platinum crackle paste on with a stencil and a small spatula.

 I taped on a layer of watercolor paper underneath the photo to help it to lie flat. I added a layer of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor paper mat.  I added another layer of cardboard and a bottom                                                                            layer of corrugated.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
I arranged the Beautiful Board,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. I rubbed on gold  mica
