I brushed on clear gesso on all the surfaces.I applied texture paste with a stencil. I put the hardware back on. I used sandpaper to file down edges of paper that stuck out, then glued on the Printed Beautiful Board and other items. I added some pearl and gold mica powders.

To add visual interest I added rhinestones, pearls, keys with dyed ribbon, flowers, and gold leaf.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Painting Is Poetry That Is Seen Rather Than Felt

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun                       treasures there!

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto 49 and Market paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat, and  made a mat also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard, ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso. While it was wet I sprinkled on UTEE and heated it. I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers. I taped on a flower, chipboard, and a shell, and taped and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.I rubbed on gold, blue, and pearl mica powder on different  areas.

To add visual interest I added glass beads, sequins, gold leaf, sisal, tulle, crystals,a shell, pearls, glass glitter, chipboard, flowers, and bling and metal from my stash.
A  lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

The flower to the right of the photo is made of polyester chiffon. I cut 4 layers of concentric circles and heated each of the edges seperately with a candle,I sewed the layers together and glued a pearl on top.

Thank you so much for looking, and have a great week!
