For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team: Why Fit In When You Were Born To Stand Out?

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat,and made a mat also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard,ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso.

I sprinkled on ultra thick embossing powder into the wet gesso and heated it with a heat gun.

I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers, and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints. I rubbed on gold,aqua,and pearl mica powder on different areas.

To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads,sequins,tulle,lace,iridescent wrapping paper, sisal, crystals, feathers, glass glitter, chipboard,and bling and metal from my stash.

Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Birds Are Magical

I sprinkled on ultra thick embossing powder into the wet gesso and heated it with a heat gun.

I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers, and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints. I rubbed on gold,blue,copper, and pearl mica powder on different areas.

To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads,sequins,tulle, crystals,pressed and dried flowers from my yard,copper leaf, feathers,pearls,a shell, glass glitter, fussy cut images from Graphic 45 paper, chipboard,and bling and metal from my stash.

Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team. You Must Have A Cup Of Tea!

To make this page,I put a layer of clear gesso on Prima paper. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula.

I taped on a layer of watercolor paper underneath the image to help it to lie flat. I added a layer of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor paper mat. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard,ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso.I sprinkled Ultra Thick Embossing Powder onto the wet gesso and melted it with a heat gun.

I arranged the Beautiful Board,and other items around the page. I brushed on Shimmerz and Lindy's Stamp Gang Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents. Anytime I glued items on I sprinkled on Gawdie Girl Diamond Shard German Glitter Glass on top of the glue. I rubbed on gold, grey,blue,and pearl mica powder in different areas.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,gold leaf, glass glitter,glitter glue, crystals,glass beads, metal and bling both from Reneabouquets, and from my stash.I used glossy accents and double sided foam tape to adhere items to the page.
