For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Christmas Magic Is Silent

To make these cards, I cut a 12" x 12" piece of watercolor paper in half.

I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula.

 

 I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.

I rubbed on gold,aqua, and pearl colored mica powder on a lot of the background and raised areas on the page.

                                                      

To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads,pearls,lace, crystals, glass glitter, tulle,iridescent wrapping paper,   fussy cut images from Graphic 45 papers, paper flowers and chipboard, and bling and metal from my stash. 

      Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

I tried to make the top of the paper resemble the Northern Lights.

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat,and made a mat of it also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard,ripped the paper off, and brushed on white gesso.

I sprinkled on ultra thick embossing powder into the wet gesso and heated it with a heat gun.

 I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers, and glued on beads and other items.

 I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.
