Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the fun treasures there! 

To make this page, I first applied clear gesso to Prima paper.

  I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.

 I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on the background paper with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and fussy cut images.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of edges and raised areas. There's a little blue Prima wax too.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper,white tulle,antique lace, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Tim Holtz, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

Happy Valentine's Day, A Mixed Media Layout For The Reneabouquets Design Team

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the fun treasures there! 

To make this page, I first applied clear gesso to 49 & Market paper.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper,black and white tulle,antique lace, pressed and dried flowers,shells,Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets,Tim Holtz, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together. I also added tiny flower and leaves fussy cut from Tim Holtz, and the Botanist Sticker Anthology.

Summer Gold, a Shimmerz Paints DT Project, by Melissa Larson

 Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!  

I covered a 9 x4 " wood box with 49 & Market paper by using glossy accents. I put the Tim Holtz paper doll image on with layers of corrugated cardboard. I added the items around it. I brushed on the following Shimmerz Paints: First Blush, Christmas Cheer, and Pink-A-Boo. I painted on gold mica powder and water,and rubbed some on too.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,lace, pink tulle,  glass beads,dried flowers, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets,Tim Holtz,  flowers from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

Shimmerz Design Team Layout, Pretty In Blue

 Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!                                                                               

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I taped together layers of cardboard with the photo on top. I applied Prima crackle paste on 49 & Market paper with a spatula. I put the chipboard frame  on the page, and started adding flowers and other items. I painted the corrugated, chipboard,and watercolor matt with Shimmerz Paints, First Blush, Blue My Mind, and Olive U Truly. All the gold on the page is mica powder and water.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,iridescent wrapping paper,gold thread, lace, pink tulle, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets,Tim Holtz, sealing wax, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

A 4 x 6 Inch Book Box, for the Reneabouquet Design Team, by Melissa Larson

 

Hi everyone!Melissa here, with a new design team project for the amazing Reneabouquets! Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

I took a 4 x 6 inch paper mache book box, and painted the inside and outside with gesso. I glued on 49 & Market Irrevocable Beauty and Flower Fairies Of Spring papers on the inside and outside. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Crackle Texture paste. I put several layers of corrugated cardboard under the fairy.I glued on the rest of the items using Glossy Accents, and sprinkled on Gawdy Girl Diamond Glitter. Whenever I glued something on with Glossy Accents, I added  Gawdy Girl Diamond Glitter.  I painted with Shimmerz Paints, and rubbed on some mica powder.                                         

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, glass beads, pearls, pressed flowers from my yard, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and a tea cup trinket from Reneabouquet. There's fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 papers.

Reneabouquets Design Team 5x7 Canvas, by Melissa Larson

Hi everyone!Melissa here, with a new design team project for the amazing Reneabouquets! Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

I took a 5"x7" canvas, and painted on gesso on the reverse side. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Crackle Texture paste on the frame, and a little on the canvas. I added the frame on top of the canvas, and put the fairy on. I placed the flowers in, and then all the little items. Whenever I glued something on with Glossy Accents, I added  Gawdy Girl Diamond Glitter.  I painted with Shimmerz Paints, and rubbed on some mica powder. I brushed on Some Decor Paint that has iridescent glitter and cellophane in it.                                        

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter, black tulle,white tulle, sisal, glass beads, pearls, pressed flowers from my yard, feathers from the birdbath outside, flowers from  Reneabouquets,and a bee charm from Reneabouquet,  There's fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 papers. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. The blue wire at the top is so I can hang this on my wall on a straight pin.
