A Clockwork Heart Can't Replace The Real Thing, For The Reneabouquets DT

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I coated 49 And Market paper with clear gesso, so the paint I planned on using didn't soak straight into the paper. I had clipped the paper to heavy cardboard to keep the paper flat.

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.

I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste on the paper with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied gold mica powder with my fingers on a lot of edges and raised areas. There are different layers of paint.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,a few Swarovski crystals, glass beads, pearls,feathers,shells, tulle,flowers and metal from Reneabouquets, and some bling from my stash. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together. The owl at the top is from The Botanist's Sticker Anthology.

In Dreams And In Love There Are No Impossibilities, A DT Page For Shimmerz Paints

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I taped together layers of cardboard with the photo on top.I made a mat out of watercolor paper.

I brushed on clear gesso on 49 & Market paper. I applied Prima Platinum crackle through a Finnabair stencil with a spatula. I put the layers on the page, and started adding flowers and other items. I applied white gesso to the chipboard so the paint would have something to "grip onto to".

I brushed on different colors of Shimmerz paints:

Inklingz: Greener Pastures, Penny 4 Your Thoughts, First Blush, I Love You Onyxly, Pink A Boo

Shimmerz: Precious Metal, Christmas Cheer.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,iridescent wrapping paper,lace, tulle,feathers,pressed flowers, sisal, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,metal from Reneabouquets, Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets, flowers from Reneabouquets ,and bling and metal from my stash. The fussy cut images are from 49 & Market Papers, and Botanist's Sticker Anthology. I rubbed on gold mica powder on a few of the raised areas. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.

I brushed on clear gesso on 49 & Market paper. I applied Prima Platinum crackle through a Finnabair stencil with a spatula. I put the layers on the page, and started adding flowers and other items. I applied gesso to the chipboard so the paint would have something to "grip onto to".

I brushed on different colors of Shimmerz paints:

Inklingz: Greener Pastures, Good As Gold, Penny 4 Your Thoughts, First Blush, I Love You Onyxly, Hot Stuff

Shimmerz: Peacock's Plume ,Pool Me Close,Ultra Marine,

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper,lace, tulle,Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,gold wire,metal from Reneabouquets, Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets, flowers from Reneabouquets and Prima,shells,and bling and metal from my stash. I rubbed on gold mica powder on a lot of raised areas. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together. I used a few colors of mica powder mixed with water to add more color.

Reneabouquets DT Post, Observe The Beauty Of The Forest

To make this project, I took a 5 by 7 inch canvas and painted it with black gesso. I combined two frames so that it would fit around the photo. I painted the frame with Jaquard Bright Gold Mica Powder and water, over gesso. I glued the frame to the canvas with glossy accents.

I put two layers of corrugated cardboard underneath the photo. I added all the small embellishments.

I reversed an 8 by 10 inch canvas and painted it with black gesso,and painted the wings black too. I used double sided foam tape to attach the small canvas to the bigger one.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,a few Swarovski crystals, glass beads, pearls,pressed dried flowers, tulle,iridescent wrapping paper, wire, and flowers from Reneabouquets Almost all the fussy cut images are from Graphic 45. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

Reneabouquets Design Team Project, Meet Me Where The Sky Touches The Sea

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

I took a 5"x7" canvas, and brushed on gesso on the reverse side. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Crackle Texture paste on the frame, and a little on the canvas. I added the circular Beautiful Board on top of the canvas, and put the mermaid on. I placed the flowers in, and then all the little items. Whenever I glued something on with Glossy Accents, I added Gawdy Girl Diamond Glitter. I painted with Shimmerz Paints, and rubbed on some mica powder. I brushed on Rose Gold Paint that has iridescent glitter and cellophane in it.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,a few Swarovski crystals, glass beads, pearls,shells, tulle,sisal,flowers from Reneabouquets,metal from Reneabouquets, and my stash, All the fussy cut images are from Graphic 45. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and put the Mermaid and frame on two layers of corrugated cardboard.
