For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team , There Is No Friendship, No Love, Like That Of The Parent For The Child

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this I reversed a 5 x 7 inch canvas and coated it with white gesso. I did the same with chipboard. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture paste with a spatula. I attached the chipboard to the canvas with 2 small hinges, and then used Shimmerz Paints to add color. Shimmerz Paints are so fantastic to work with. I sprinkled Ultra Thick Embossing Powder on and heated it. I added more paint, and gold mica powder.

I added the embellishments.

To add visual interest I added glass beads, glass glitter,Swarovski crystals,iridescent wrapping paper,c chipboard,tulle,flowers,and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural things are from Reneabouquets.

On the inside I added a few ATC watercolor cards,each 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 ".

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team

To make this page I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste on watercolor paper with a small spatula. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I put a piece of canvas paper under the photo, I wet the edges and pulled some threads out to make the fringe. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and placed it on the page.I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints. I rubbed on gold mica powder on a lot of the raised areas.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,glass beads, glass glitter,Swarovski crystals,iridescent wrapping paper,copper leaf, chipboard,tulle,flowers,and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural things are from Reneabouquets. The metal bird and butterfly were given to me by Lisa Romero Landry, a friend of mine.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, You Are The Best Gift I've Ever Received

To make this page, I applied clear gesso to 49&Market paper. Then I stenciled on Prima Platinum crackle paste to with a spatula. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the photo to make it more sturdy and lie flat.

I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.

I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,copper leaf,feathers, glass glitter, glass beads,crystals,tulle,lace, sisal,bling from my stash, iridescent wrapping paper,pressed flowers,and mulberry paper flowers

To make this page, I applied Prima Platinum crackle paste to watercolor paper with a spatula and a stencil. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the photo to make it more sturdy and lie flat.

I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat. The bottom layer of cardboard has gesso that I poured Ultra Thick Embossing Powder onto,and heated till it was just melted. A lot of it's covered up with tulle.

I arranged the Beautiful Board and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.

To add visual interest I added micro beads,sequins,copper leaf,feathers, glass glitter, glass beads,crystals,tulle,lace, sisal,bling from my stash, iridescent wrapping paper, FolkArt Glitterific Clear Hologram Acrylic Paint,and a flower.
