For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, In All The World There Is No Love For You Like Mine

 


Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the             fun treasures there!

To make this page, I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat. The bottom layer of cardboard has gesso that I poured Ultra Thick Embossing Powder onto and heated till  it was just melted. You can't see the corrugated because I layered paper and antique lace over it.

I coated a sheet of Prima paper with two layers of  clear gesso, then applied Prima Platinum crackle paste  with a stencil and a spatula.I arranged Prima fussy cut papers and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads. I applied jaquard gold mica powder with my fingers on the raised parts of the page, and also on a lot of textured items. 





To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,Swarovski  crystals, glass beads,gold thread, tulle,lace, iridescent wrapping paper,pressed flowers, feathers,flowers, and shells. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things, and to put the cardboard layers together.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, Three ATCs, Titled Stories Have Given Me A Place To Lose Myself



Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all the fun treasures there! 






To make these cards I cut watercolor paper into 2.5 x 3.5 inch cards. I put them on pieces of black cardstock, and painted everything with black gesso.  I stenciled on Prima Ultraplatinum texture paste with a spatula. 

I attached the gorgeous Wonderland theme Beautiful Board,flowers and a few images from Alice's Tea Party Collection from Graphic 45 papers. I added the beads,dried flowers, and metal pieces.







To add visual interest I added seed beads,glass glitter, glass beads, pearls,feathers from my yard,pressed flowers, wire, flowers and metal from  Reneabouquets, glitter paints, and clay mould pieces.
 Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.
I used double sided foam tape for the flowers,images, and metal. I put a few layers of corrugated cardboard underneath the Beautiful Board on each ATC.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, All That We Love Deeply Becomes A Part Of Us

  
Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all  the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I applied gold  and silver mica powder on a lot of the raised areas on the page. The fussy cut images are from 49 and Market.






To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter, glass beads,crystals,pressed on dried flowers, sisal, tiny feathers,shells,tulle, lace,metal from Reneabouquet and my stash, and flowers. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things,and to put the cardboard layers together.
