Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new design team page for the amazing Reneabouquets! There's a huge variety of fun things there: flowers, papers,butterflies, Beautiful Board, metal embellishments, pearls, glitter, and much more.
I've used a photo by A.M. Lorek, from free google.
To make this page I applied clear gesso to Garden Life paper,by Blue Fern Studios.I put texture paste on with two different stencils, then put the layers under the photo together: I taped on card stock under the image to make it stronger. Below that is a layer of watercolor paper, and at the bottom is corrugated cardboard.I tore off most of the paper from the surface from the cardboard, and painted it with gesso. I put layers of foam core board between everything, to add dimension.
I picked out Beautiful Board, sponged on gesso, then painted it with Shimmerz Paints. I topped it with a thick coat of Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint. Almost all the color on the page is from Shimmerz Paints.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, glass glitter,distress glitter, mica flakes, gold leaf, seed beads,glass beads, pearls,sequins, Swarovski crystals,rhinestones,glass pebbles, shells, black tulle,tiny pieces of gold lace, pressed flowers and leaves, flowers from Reneabouquet and Prima, metal from Tim Holtz, and bling and metal from my stash.
I love that dragonfly, it's amazing.
On the glass pebble at the right of the photo I dabbed on a little Cosmic Blue Deco Art paste, and also along the edges of the layers with the photo. I glued iridescent wrap under the pebble.
The title sticker is from Tim Holtz.
I added Sparks Art Alchemy paint around the edges of the paper in Butterfly Spells,a shade of pink. I dabbed on a lot of gold mica powder by Jaquard all over. I splashed the page with a mix of white gesso and water,by tapping the handle of the brush. I rubbed on Prima Waxes in Green Brocade and White Gold in random places.
I edged some of the Bboard with black gesso, added some brown and green paint in places, and gold mica powder. I did some Prima and Finnabair stamping on the borders.
