For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, You Are One Of Those People Who Meet When Life Decides To Give You A Gift

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun treasures there!

To make this page I brushed on clear gesso on 49and Market paper,then stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I made a watercolor mat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and placed it on the page.I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.  I rubbed on gold and silver mica powder on different areas.







To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,glass beads,swarovski crystals,acrylic crystals, glass glitter,gold leaf,iridescent wrapping paper, chipboard,tulle,lace,flowers,fussy cut images from 49 and Market paper,and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural items are from Reneabouquets.

For The Reneabouquets Design Team, Being Normal Is Vastly Overrated

 



Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new post, a layout, for the amazing Reneabouquets. Go and see all                                                                 the beautiful treasures there!

To make this page, I applied Prima crackle paste to watercolor paper with a stencil and a small spatula.  I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper under the photo to                                                                                    make it lie flat.                                                                                                          
 I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.            
   
I arranged the Beautiful Board,fussy cut images,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.





To add visual interest I added mica powder, micro beads,seed beads, glass glitter,glass beads,crystals,tulle,bling from my stash,iridescent wrapping paper, sisal,feathers,and fussy cut images                          from several different lines of Halloween papers from Graphic 45, Beautiful Board and                                                                       Printed Beautiful Board.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Bonfires And Pumpkins. Leaves Sailing Down - October Is Red. And Golden And Brown.

To make this page I brushed on clear gesso on Stamperia Paper,then stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat. I made a watercolor mat. I took a piece of canvas paper, ran it under the faucet just to get it wet, then ripped off a small amount of the edges to make a fringe. I used a straight pin to help get the threads off.I glued it on the mat. I added layers of corrugated cardboard and placed it on the page.I taped on flowers, glued on beads and other items, and I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.  I rubbed on gold and silver mica powder on different areas. At the end I sponged on white gesso to make the page look less busy. 






To add visual interest I added micro beads,seed beads,glass beads,swarovski crystals,acrylic crystals, glass glitter,gold leaf,sequins,iridescent wrapping paper, chipboard,tulle,lace,flowers,feathers,dried flowers,fussy cut images from the Botanist Sticker Anthology,and bling and metal from my stash. A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents. Many of the textural items are from Reneabouquets.

To make this page, I applied clear gesso to Prima paper. Then I stenciled on Prima Platinum crackle paste with a spatula. I put the layers under the photo together,starting with taping on watercolor paper                                        under the photo to make it more sturdy and lie flat.                                   

 I added layers of corrugated cardboard and a watercolor mat.            
   
I arranged the Beautiful Board,fussy cut images,and flowers around the page, then added the beads and other items.I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, and glued on more beads,using Glossy Accents.
