A Christmas Nest, A Card For The Reneabouquets Design Team

Hi everyone!Melissa here, with a new design team project for the amazing Reneabouquets! Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

I used watercolor paper to make an 8"x 4" card. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Crackle Texture paste. I sponged white gesso on the Beautiful Board pieces. I put the flowers on first with layers of cardboard underneath it,then the rest of the items. I added Shimmerz Paints, mica powder, Ranger Distress Inks, and Prima waxes, and Decor Paint that has gold glitter and shreds of glittery gold cellophane in it. I used a lot of different colors and layers of paints.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,gold leaf,iridescent wrapping paper, black and white tulle, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls, flowers from Reneabouquets, red balls from Christmas pics,and bling and metal from my stash. There's fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 papers. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things. As a final step I flicked on gold mica powder all over.

Shimmerz Paints Design Team Project, View From a Window, a 5 x 7 Canvas

Hi everyone! Melissa here, with a new design team project for the amazing Shimmerz Paints, I love their rich texture and colors!

To make this I applied white gesso to the 5x7 canvas, and on the chipboard frame. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a spatula. It took a long time for the texture paste to dry, because it's on canvas. I placed all the items on, and started painting. I used double sided foam tape to put the chipboard frame on, but it didn't stick well, glue didn't work either, so I wrapped the canvas with thin rose gold colored wire, and taped the wire on the back with masking tape

I kept adding things, and more layers of paint and gold mica powder.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass glitter,gold leaf,glass beads, pearls, rhinestones, glass hearts,tulle, a flower and metal from Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash.Most of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

On the chipboard frame I used Dear John Letter, Penny 4 Your Thoughts, Honeymoon,and Blue My Mind Inklingz. The gold is Christmas Cheer Shimmerz. Dear John Letter is discontinued. The light blue is Pool Me Close Shimmerz.

I used the same colors on the rest of the canvas, along with Pink- A -Boo and Olive U Truly Inklingz. In addition I brushed on Peacock's Plume , Precious Metal,and Iris My Case Shimmerz.

Trick or Treat, A Vintage Style Card for Reneabouquets Design Team

Hi everyone!Melissa here, with a new design team project for the amazing Reneabouquets! Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,gold leaf,iridescent wrapping paper, purple tulle, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,sequins,metal and a vintage image from Tim Holtz, flowers from Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. There's fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 Halloween papers. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things.

Reneabouquets DT post, Vintage Blue Card

Hi everyone!Melissa here, with a new design team project for the amazing Reneabouquets! Go and see all the beautiful treasures there!

I used watercolor paper to make a 9"x 4" card. I stenciled on Prima Platinum Crackle Texture paste. I sponged white gesso on the Beautiful Board pieces. I put the flowers on first with layers of cardboard underneath them,then the rest of the items. I added Shimmerz Paints, mica powder,Aqua Tint Embossing Powder, Prima waxes, and a little orange Ranger alcohol ink. I used a lot of different colors and layers of paints,and at one point, I thought I should use more color,so I started adding a little orange, then the fine Rust German Glitter Glass. The glass added a whole new look, and the quality of it is amazing. Toward the end I added Ranger Clear Rock Candy Crackle to the Beautiful Board, and the stenciled areas.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads,glass glitter,gold leaf,iridescent wrapping paper, ivory tulle, tiny pieces of vintage lace, Swarovski and other brands of crystals, glass beads, pearls,sequins,metal and a vintage image from Tim Holtz, flowers from Reneabouquets,and bling and metal from my stash. There's fussy cut pieces from Graphic 45 Flutter papers. Most of the things are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.I used double sided foam tape for the flowers and some other things.
